Duties Prepare ingredients and assist in assembling menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and mixers Follow food safety protocols diligently, ensuring proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients and utensils Support meal preparation for various service periods, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment to uphold hygiene standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely delivery of orders Assist with catering setups and serving when needed, ensuring guest satisfaction through quality presentation Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Strong food handling skills with knowledge of safety standards in production environments Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and food preparation techniques such as slicing, chopping, and portioning Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively Excellent communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen team members Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while maintaining speed in a busy setting Positive attitude with the motivation to be successful in their field Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
