Duties Prepare and serve meals according to established menus, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Assist with menu planning by contributing creative ideas and understanding dietary requirements Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area Support food preparation activities, including chopping, mixing, cooking, and plating dishes with precision Maintain kitchen organization, including inventory management and proper storage of ingredients Provide excellent food service by attending to guests' needs promptly and courteously Participate in catering events and special meal preparations as needed to support various functions Skills Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly valued Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly in restaurant or food industry settings Knowledge of menu planning, food safety regulations, and proper food handling techniques Excellent knife skills and proficiency in culinary techniques for diverse meal preparations Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced kitchen environments while maintaining attention to detail Experience with catering services and serving large groups is a plus Good communication skills and teamwork orientation to collaborate effectively with staff and clients
