In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to perfection, and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Your culinary expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences, maintaining high safety standards, and supporting the overall success of our food service operation. Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Cook food items with precision, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, slicers, and mixers Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance for upcoming service periods Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene throughout all stages of preparation Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and ensure timely service Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while adhering to recipe guidelines Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or food industry setting Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient portioning Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus Familiarity with food safety management systems and adherence to safety standards in production Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency across all dishes Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services is highly desirable Capable of operating various kitchen equipment safely while maintaining efficiency Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness, sanitation, and food handling procedures Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a real difference!
