Role:
As a Dietary Cook at The Waters of Dunkirk, your responsibilities will include: Preparing and cooking meals for residents, considering their dietary restrictions and preferences Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards Collaborating with the dietary team to develop menus and plans that meet the needs of our residents Assisting with inventory management, ordering supplies, and reducing waste Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the dining experience for our residents
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in food service or a related field; formal culinary training or certification preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines Familiarity with food safety guidelines and regulations Excellent communication and teamwork skills
