Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in preparing high-quality dishes that delight our guests and uphold our restaurant's standards. Your energy, culinary skills, and attention to food safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food preparation, kitchen operations, and delivering outstanding service. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, stoves, ovens, and food processors Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict sanitation standards Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients for upcoming service periods Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all food production processes Support the culinary team during busy service hours by efficiently executing meal preparation tasks Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely delivery of orders Experience Previous experience in a food service environment, such as restaurant or catering settings, is highly preferred but not required Demonstrated culinary experience with strong knife skills and slicing techniques Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in meal preparation Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently within a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and serving teams All are welcome to apply, will have training on the job for all new employs Join us to bring your culinary talents to life in a lively environment where your passion for food makes a difference!
