Essential Job Duties:
Prepare and cook daily meals and snacks according to the center's menu and food safety guidelines. Place weekly food and supply orders based on the center's needs and inventory. Receive food deliveries and check orders for accuracy, quality, and proper temperatures. Properly store all food and supplies according to food safety guidelines. Monitor inventory and notify management when food, cleaning, or kitchen supplies are running low. Follow proper food handling, storage, temperature, and sanitation procedures. Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, counters, sinks, dishes, and food preparation areas. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times. Prepare and refill cleaning spray bottles as needed. Clean windows, doors, hallways, and other common areas throughout the center. Clean and sanitize bathrooms regularly, including toilets, sinks, floors, and fixtures. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors in assigned areas. Empty trash and replace liners as needed. Assist with maintaining clean and organized dining and meal areas. Follow all health, safety, licensing, and sanitation requirements. Complete additional cleaning, kitchen, and housekeeping duties as assigned by management. Maintain a professional, dependable, and positive attitude while working around children and staff.
