At Alamo Drafthouse Indianapolis, dinner and a movie happen at the same time, and our kitchen crew makes that experience work. We're looking for Line Cooks who can bring the heat, keep their cool when the tickets start rolling in, and make food our guests are excited to order again. You don't need to know every movie quote. You do need to care about what leaves your station. The role Prepare and plate food using Alamo recipes and quality standards. Work through guest orders with accuracy, speed, and attention to food safety. Keep your station prepped, stocked, organized, and clean. Follow prep lists, cleaning schedules, and portion standards to maintain quality and reduce waste. Communicate with the kitchen crew and managers when the action picks up. Pitch in where needed to help deliver an awesome guest experience. Your cast of characters You'll fit right in if you have at least one year of cooking experience in a busy kitchen, work well with a team, and can stay focused through a rush. You'll also need an active food handler certification and availability for some nights, weekends, and holidays. A love of movies is a bonus; pride in your food is essential. This is an active kitchen role. You'll spend extended time on your feet, work around heat, steam, noise, and cleaning products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
