Our kitchen is a little different from the traditional restaurant kitchen. Our wood-fired oven is our primary heat source , so you'll have the opportunity to learn and work with open-fire cooking techniques while preparing everything from our pizzas to wood-fired entrées. About the Role We're looking for someone who can jump in where needed—whether that means prepping ingredients, keeping stations stocked and organized, cooking on the line, working the wood-fired oven, or helping keep the kitchen clean and running smoothly. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and maintain organized, well-stocked stations Complete daily prep according to kitchen needs and standards Prepare and cook pizzas in our wood-fired oven Cook entrées over an open flame Prepare salads, appetizers, and other menu items Finish and plate desserts Cook and plate dishes according to established recipes and quality standards Learn and properly operate our wood-fired oven and open-fire cooking equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and kitchen maintenance Communicate and work effectively with the entire kitchen team Help maintain a smooth, efficient, and positive kitchen environment Requirements Minimum 1 year of restaurant kitchen experience Strong knife skills and familiarity with common kitchen equipment Ability to learn and adapt to a wood-fired, open-flame kitchen Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to stay calm and focused during busy service Positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong teamwork and communication skills Pride in cleanliness, organization, and food quality Tuesday-Saturday availability required Availability for both day and evening shifts Baking or pastry experience is a plus What We're Looking For We're not looking for drama—we're looking for someone who shows up, works hard, communicates, and wants to be part of a good team .
