Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong commitment to providing high-quality meal preparation in a fast-paced environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers enjoy delicious, safe, and well-presented meals. This position requires attention to detail, creativity in food preparation, and adherence to food safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage. Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times. Assist with training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices. Requirements First shift begins at 4am and requires a responsible person to open the kitchen and begin food preparation. Second shift is 2pm-10pm Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of meal preparation, food handling, and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes that exceed guest expectations.
