Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated short order cook to join our team at The Getaway Lounge. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing and cooking meals. Pay will be $15 up to $20 an hour based on knowledge, skills, and abilities. Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation, food handling, and cooking activities to ensure timely delivery of quality dishes Prepare ingredients through chopping, slicing, and food safety practices Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Maintain a clean kitchen environment by washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, and organizing supplies efficiently Experience Background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service Familiarity with meal preparation, and food handling techniques is preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures will be advantageous Strong communication skills and the ability to serve with enthusiasm are important for delivering exceptional customer experiences
