SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None
JOB SUMMARY
Prepares meals for residents and personnel in accordance to Medicalodges procedures and is responsible for quantity of food prepared and quality of finished product.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for working hours as scheduled. 2. Preparing meals, snacks, and drinks for residents following menus and guidelines provided. 3. Use standardized recipes and practice portion control. 4. Responsible for the quantity of food prepared and quality of the finished product. 5. Prepare serving area, salad bar, and dining rooms prior to meals. 6. Record temperatures of food and equipment as required. 7. Chart intakes in the main dining room. 8. Clean work area and equipment; clean and sanitize dining area and kitchen after each meal; and assigned daily cleaning. 9. Do prep assignments and re-stock items to prepare for the next meal. 10. Following posted schedule for cleaning major equipment, work areas, and storage areas. 11. Preparing trays for serving meals and snacks. 12. Maintaining high personal standards of health and hygiene when preparing food. 13. Assist other dietary staff in completing duties, when needed. 14.
