COOK FOR A SMALL CHILDCARE CENTER I KANSAS CITY KANSAS PART-TIME
Morning Shift Monday-Friday (15-20 hours per week) Do you love cooking and have a passion for working with young children? Join our warm, caring energetic Team. We're searching for a dedicated and reliable cook to prepare nutritious, kid friendly meals and snacks for our children, while maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. Must pass Background/Fingerprints Check. Responsibilities Meal Planning, preparing and serving meals to young children . Food safety ensuring food is prepared and stored according to guidelines. Maintain inventory and place food orders as needed. Accommodate children's dietary restrictions or allergies. Kitchen maintenance includes cleaning, sanitizing, removing trash, organizing groceries, preparing food orders, menu planning, ordering menu supplies. Attractive Food Presentation Qualifications Proven working experience as a cook in a license childcare or school setting. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils. Knowledge of child nutrition and food safety practices. Ability to multitask, stay organized and work independently. Must pass background check and meet state/federal and locate license requirements. Ability to pay attention to details.
