The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation and food service, with a strong understanding of food safety protocols. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, whether it be in a restaurant, catering service, or fine dining establishment. If you have a love for culinary arts and enjoy working as part of a team to create delicious dishes, we want to hear from you. Duties Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared safely and meets health regulations. Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Collaborate with dietary aides and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality presentation and service. Uphold fine dining standards when necessary, providing an exceptional dining experience for guests. Experience Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred. Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Experience in restaurant settings or catering services is advantageous. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment. A passion for cooking and creating memorable meals for guests.
