Job Description
Job brief As our Pizza Cook you will prepare dough, assemble pizzas according to menu, and cook to the restaurant's specifications. As Pizza Cook you must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important. Responsibilities Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) Cook pizzas in wood-fired pizza oven Monitor and maintain wood in oven Check and rotate pizzas while cooking Ensure great presentation of pizzas before they are served Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Check quality of ingredients Monitor stock and refill when there are shortages Requirements Experience as a cook or pizza cook is preferred Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.) Ability to follow all sanitation procedures Ability to work in a team Very good communication skills Excellent physical condition and stamina High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
