Plan and prepare breakfast, lunch, and snack in accordance with the school's requirements and established standards Provide substitutemeals for children with special dietary requirements. Organizing food and supplies storage areas Maintain a clean and sanitary work station Maintain an organized systems in the kitchen and pantry Work collaboratively and contribute to the weekly food menus Represent Open Minds in a professional manner Be a positive role model for our students Attend monthly training days Job Requirements At least 18 years of age At least one year of experience working in a licensed child care facility or similar institute. Proficiency with classroom technology (IPads, laptops, etc.) Ability to sit, stoop, bend to low level positions that best allow interactions with the students Willing to obtain current CPR and First Aid training Pass pre-employment screening and fingerprint background check Salary Range $15.00-$19.00 per/hour INDOMHP Preferred Qualifications The ability to lift 40 lbs is strongly desired Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, with excellent time management skills Should be comfortable communicating with and handling children from infancy to 5 years old Should have excellent cooking skills with adequate knowledge to coordinate with administration on weekly meal plans
