We are located on 4043 SW 10th Avenue. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working. We have a tight team and our new cook will not just be hired but will become part of that team. Starting pay is based on experience but good cooks with little or no experience can come learn and rise up the pay scale rapidly. Make yourself someone we rely on and we will show you the money. Paisano's is Topeka's premier made-from-scratch Italian restaurant. We have an available spot for the right candidate. We assess new hires during the first two weeks and will be looking for you to demonstrate your capabilities. All training shifts must be attended 100% on time and in full in order to complete training and take your place on the line. Responsibilities Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation. Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Clean up station and take care of leftover food Stock inventory Various cleaning tasks Qualifications Cooking experience or Back of the House experience preferred but not required Able to meet all scheduling commitments Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs Strong attention to detail We offer competitive pay, free employee meals, direct-deposit, flexible scheduling, and a positive teamwork environment.
