In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, assisting with menu planning, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Your energy and culinary skills will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your food industry expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting improvements based on kitchen operations Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, and mixers Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to meet food safety standards Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene in all food preparation activities Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Adhere strictly to safety standards during production, including knife skills and slicing techniques Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality control Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or culinary environments is highly preferred Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus Demonstrated ability in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Strong understanding of food safety management and sanitation standards Excellent communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff seamlessly Experience with recipe adherence, menu execution, and catering is advantageous Ability to demonstrate knife skills and slicing techniques with precision Prior experience in the food industry or culinary roles that showcase your passion for cooking Embark on a culinary journey with us where your skills are valued, your growth is supported, and every day brings new opportunities to create memorable meals!
