Nestled in the heart of Berea's historic Churchill's, Honeysuckle is a newly renovated space turned into a modern southern restaurant & bar that showcases Kentucky bourbon and craft beers alongside a unique and savory menu. Join our team in creating the ultimate dining experience for future guests! A line cook with Honeysuckle Dining and Bourbon House is an organized, efficient, professional, and passionate team-member who will assist the Head Chef in kitchen operations. Under the direction of the General Manager and Head Chef, you will ensure all dishes served to patrons meet the highest quality standards. You will also make sure all work stations are kept clean and organized, supplies are stocked, and staff follows safe food preparation procedures at all times. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prep ingredients to cook all menu items and assist in cooking menu items
  • Help make sure that all plates that leave the kitchen meet taste and design standards
  • Ensure that the kitchen operates efficiently and professionally
  • Assist in food and operation supply inventories
  • Confirm compliance with all sanitation and health and safety standards; record food temperatures hourly Requirements and Qualifications
  • Associate degree or certificate in culinary arts preferred; ServSafe Management Certification strongly preferred, Food Handler's Card required
  • 1+ years of experience as a line cook knowledge of food preparation and existing health and safety standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Collaborative attitude with an emphasis on excellent customer service
