Job Description
Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Cook position in Crittenden, KY. This is for a long-term opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career. As a Cook you will be responsible for assisting the Chef in preparations for the daily meals. The ideal candidate is excellent at multi-tasking, is organized, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. If you meet the qualifications listed below, please Apply Now! Responsibilities for this Cook position include:
- Prepares food items using standardized recipes in a timely manner
- Determines food and supplies needed and coordinate meal production with serving hours.
- Prepares all special dietary need as directed by the menus.
- Monitors all food items to see that at least the minimum guidelines for temperature, taste, and quality are always upheld.
- Ensures the proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and standardized recipes.
- Tastes and prepares food to determine quality.
- Maintains or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
- Assists with orientation and training of new kitchen employees.
- Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Attends all in-services as required.
- Follows all local, state, and federal policies regarding food handling.
- Assists with proper documentation of temperature logs, taste panel forms, and cleaning schedules.
- Washing dishes and pans
- Clean and sanitize
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Excellent Attendance Record Self-Motivated High School Diploma/GED Prior Experience Required Successful completion of recognized food safety course preferred Shifts will range between 1st & 2nd shifts and weekends will be required.
