Your culinary skills and attention to safety standards will ensure every plate served delights our guests and upholds our commitment to food safety and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients with precision using proper knife skills and slicing techniques Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and other culinary tools Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to meet food safety standards and sanitation protocols Support menu planning by suggesting improvements based on ingredient availability and kitchen efficiency Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication during busy service hours Follow food handling procedures meticulously to uphold food safety management practices and prevent contamination or spoilage Qualifications Previous experience in a food service environment, such as restaurant or catering experience, is highly preferred Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus for understanding special dietary needs Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, safety standards in production, and food handling procedures Skilled in using kitchen equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety standards in production Demonstrated ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in meal preparation Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams Culinary experience that includes knife skills, slicing techniques, and meal preparation methods is essential Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences! From $12.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 50.0 per week
