Overview Join our team as a Prep Cook and be the backbone of our kitchen operations! In this energetic role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring that all food preparation tasks are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your culinary skills will help create delicious meals that delight our guests and support our kitchen's smooth workflow. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food industry expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a based salary full time position. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and components according to recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist with slicing, dicing, chopping, and portioning foods using proper knife skills and slicing techniques. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, slicers, and other culinary tools. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards. Follow food handling protocols to ensure proper storage, sanitation, and safety management throughout all food prep activities. Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and dietary aides to ensure seamless communication and adherence to recipe guidelines. Requirements Previous experience not required. We can teach you. Knowledge of food safety standards in production environments and proper food handling techniques. Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining high cleanliness standards. Experience with catering or large-scale food service is a plus but not required.
