Job Overview We are seeking experienced Line Cooks/Prep Cooks to join our team at the new Tommy's Pizza in Covington! We make more than just great pizzas, check out our menu online to see. We have a diverse menu! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients and dishes that delight our guests. Your focus and culinary expertise, will ensure smooth kitchen operations and great dining experiences for our guests. Duties Prepare ingredients through precise slicing, chopping, and food handling techniques, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards Assist in ingredient and entree preparation by cooking, assembling dishes, and ensuring timely ticket times. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and grills. Maintain cleanliness of workstations by following strict cleaning protocols and sanitation standards to promote food safety Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate orders, manage workflow, and uphold safety standards in production Follow food safety management practices diligently to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is highly preferred Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and food preparation methods Knowledge of food safety standards in production environments and proper food handling procedures Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Experience with recipe adherence, meal preparation, and catering is desirable Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff A passion for culinary arts with a focus on quality, consistency, and safety standards Join us to be part of the Tommy's team!
