Responsibilities Assist in meal preparation and food service, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and other culinary tools Follow food safety management protocols to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Support menu planning by preparing ingredients and assisting with recipe adherence for various meals Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by performing regular cleaning duties and sanitizing work areas Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and service timelines Skills Proven experience in dietary departments with knowledge of meal planning and food preparation Strong background in food service, restaurant operations, or the food industry with culinary experience Excellent knife skills with slicing techniques and proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment Knowledge of safety standards in production, food handling, and food safety regulations Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining high-quality presentation standards Effective communication skills for collaborating with kitchen staff and ensuring smooth workflow
