The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. This is a role that has a lot of self reliance and ability to work with a small team in a small kitchen. Duties Help prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards. Handle food with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed at all times. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Utilize knife skills for food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. Assist with catering events as needed, providing excellent service and presentation. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements when necessary. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is a plus Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Highly capable in working in a fast paced environment A background in culinary arts or related fields is highly desirable.
