In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting cold dishes, garnishes, and accompaniments that elevate the dining experience. Your expertise in food preparation, menu planning, and food safety will ensure that every plate served reflects excellence and creativity. Duties Prepare and assemble cold dishes such as salads, charcuterie boards, seafood platters, and garnishes with meticulous attention to detail Assist in menu planning by creating visually appealing and flavorful cold dish options that align with the restaurant's standards Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout all food handling and preparation processes Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes during service hours Manage ingredient inventory for the garde manger station, ensuring freshness and proper storage of supplies Execute food presentation techniques that enhance the aesthetic appeal of each dish served Support catering events by preparing cold plates and platters according to specifications Skills Extensive culinary experience with a focus on garde manger or cold food preparation Strong knife skills and proficiency in food handling techniques Knowledge of menu planning, food safety protocols, and sanitation standards Experience working in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities Join us to craft exceptional cold dishes that delight our guests!
