!! Cadbury Commons is an upscale Assisted Living Residence in the heart of North Cambridge. We're looking for someone who will prepare menu items according to recipes, focusing on flavor, appearance, taste and texture, and delivers quality food and timely service to residents at every meal. Cadbury Commons in Cambridge is looking for a full time Cook, to work a 40 hours a week in a 1 cook kitchen Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday 11:30-7:30 Thursday & Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm Must be comfortable working independently at times.
Essential aspects of the position:
Prepare food item for occasional events or functions; completes prep work and duties as required at the start and end of each shift. Follows Serve Safe protocols and procedures for handling food, sanitation and safety (Serve Safe Certificate Required) Manages personal workflow at all times and resolves issues promptly. Communicates clearly with servers, managers and staff members; willing to assist in meeting resident's needs. Assists Director of Dining Services in ordering supplies and tracking inventory; have a clear understanding of kitchen procedures and cooking methods, cleans and maintains kitchen and all kitchen equipment in excellent working condition. We run a CORI (background check) /TB and drug test before hiring.
