As a Line Cook, you'll prepare and serve meals for our assisted living residents while helping create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. This is a great opportunity for a cook who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team. Schedule Part-time - approximately 28 hours per week 10:00 AM-6:30 PM Every other weekend Consistent daytime schedule — no late-night shifts What You'll Do Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes Prepare food according to special diets and dietary requirements Coordinate food preparation with scheduled meal times Ensure meals are properly prepared, portioned, and presented Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen Follow food safety, sanitation, and food production standards Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas Work closely with the kitchen and dining team to ensure meals are served on time Help provide a positive dining experience for our residents What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Line Cook, Cook, Prep Cook, or in a similar kitchen position Current ServSafe certification Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and commercial kitchen equipment Ability to follow recipes and special diet instructions accurately Strong attention to detail and pride in your work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Why Work at River Falls?
