The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and a strong understanding of food preparation techniques. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations, ensuring all equipment is clean and functional. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food quality and freshness, making adjustments as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff members on food preparation techniques and safety practices. Skills Proficient in various cooking methods, techniques, and equipment used in food preparation. Strong understanding of food service operations within a restaurant or catering environment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Familiarity with dietary aide practices and meal preparation for diverse dietary needs is a plus. Experience in fine dining settings is preferred but not required.
