Responsibilities Prepare a variety of sautéed dishes with consistency, flavor, and presentation in mind, adhering strictly to recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment such as sauté pans, burners, ovens, and food processors safely and efficiently Execute food preparation tasks including poaching, braising, grilling, and other cooking techniques to produce high-quality meals Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by following food safety procedures and sanitizing protocols at all times Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and dish presentation to enhance customer satisfaction Manage food handling responsibilities with attention to hygiene, portion control, and waste reduction Support the culinary team during peak hours by ensuring timely meal production while maintaining quality standards Qualifications Proven experience as a cook with a focus on sautéing or fine dining cuisine preferred Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques including poaching, braising, grilling, and food production processes Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in high-volume settings Experience in dietary departments or catering environments is a plus Excellent knife skills and ability to follow recipes accurately for consistent results Knowledge of food safety management practices including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Previous experience in restaurant or food industry roles demonstrating reliable food service skills Join our vibrant culinary team where your skills will shine!
