Vangarden Cannabis is looking for an experienced Post Processing Supervisor to join our team and help lead the day-to-day operations of our Post Processing department. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows cannabis post processing, takes pride in quality and organization, and can keep a team focused in a fast-moving production environment. Working closely with the Post Processing Manager, you'll help oversee department operations across trimming, dry, cure, harvest, sorting, quality control, waste disposal, and inventory management. You'll be responsible for assigning work, training team members, maintaining SOP compliance, solving production issues, and helping ensure the department operates safely, efficiently, and consistently. What You'll Do Lead and support the daily operations of the Post Processing department Assign daily tasks to Processing Leads and Technicians Train new team members across Post Processing functions, including trimming, dry, cure, harvest, crop inspection and sorting, quality control, waste disposal, and inventory management Perform routine Post Processing tasks and provide hands-on support where needed Help create and update departmental SOPs with oversight from the Post Processing Manager Ensure team members follow established SOPs and department procedures Build department schedules and plans with oversight from the Post Processing Manager Troubleshoot problems and help resolve production disruptions Support personnel management and corrective action in partnership with the Post Processing Manager, Director of Cultivation, and HR Conduct performance reviews with oversight from the Post Processing Manager and HR Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work environment and equipment Complete detailed logs and forms related to machinery processes and maintenance Maintain clear, kind, and respectful communication with team members and management What We're Looking For At least 2 years of relevant cannabis and leadership experience In-depth knowledge of cannabis Post Processing techniques Proficiency with Metrc track-and-trace software Familiarity with safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements Experience with quality control procedures Strong attention to detail and the ability to focus on complex and sensitive processes Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to adapt and thrive in a growing, dynamic startup environment Occasional weekend availability Fluent in Microsoft Excel Physical Requirements This is a hands-on production role that requires the ability to: Stand for extended periods on concrete floors Frequently walk, reach, and work with your hands and arms Consistently lift 10-20 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Work both standing and seated Climb ladders or stairways while maintaining balance Stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed Perform manual tasks requiring grasping, turning, pinching, and other fine motor skills Why This Role?
