Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Breakfast Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting delicious breakfast dishes that delight our guests and set the tone for their day. Your culinary expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to food safety will ensure a high-quality dining experience every morning. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your cooking skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while contributing to a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, and specialty dishes, adhering strictly to recipes and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, poaching stations, braising pots, and food production appliances safely and efficiently Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures are followed in accordance with food safety management guidelines Assist with menu planning by suggesting new breakfast options and ensuring ingredient availability for daily service Maintain cleanliness of workstations through regular sanitizing procedures and proper food safety practices Support dietary department requirements by preparing special dietary meals and accommodating guest allergies or dietary restrictions Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during high-volume breakfast service Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or catering setting is highly preferred, especially with fine dining or high-volume production environments Demonstrated culinary experience with skills in grilling, braising, poaching, and general food preparation techniques Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely Experience in menu planning, recipe adherence, and food production management Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations is essential Background in dietary aide roles or dietary department experience is a plus Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced setting Join us if you're eager to craft exceptional breakfast dishes that energize our guests' mornings!
