Full Job Description Description:
Double Bull Taphouse is seeking an experienced Cook to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and be able to prepare delicious meals for our customers. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring that all food is cooked to perfection and presented in an appealing manner. The successful candidate will have a passion for food, be knowledgeable about different cooking techniques and have experience in preparing a variety of cuisines. Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures. Ensure that all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented in an appealing manner. Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and equipment. Keep the kitchen clean and organized, following sanitation guidelines. Work with the kitchen team to ensure that all food is prepared on time and to the required quality standards. Collaborate with the management team to ensure that the kitchen is operating efficiently. Employee must meet eligibility requirements to enroll in benefits. Prior experience as a Cook preferred. Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Willingness to learn new recipes, techniques, and stations. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent communication skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs. A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts is a plus!
