White Cliffs Country Club \| Plymouth, MA \$23.00\$27.00 per hour, based on experience Part-Time \| AM & PM Shifts \| 25 Days Per Week \| 11-Month Position White Cliffs Country Club is seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team at a private, resort-style country club on Cape Cod Bay in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This is a hands-on position in a scratch kitchen supporting a busy la carte lunch and dinner program, along with weddings, banquets, and special events. The Line Cook reports directly to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef and plays an important role in delivering consistent, high-quality food and service to our members and guests. Our kitchen operates in a fast-paced, professional, and positive environment. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking team player who takes pride in their work, maintains high standards, and brings a great attitude to every service.
WHAT YOU\'LL DO
Prepare and consistently execute menu items for la carte service Work assigned stations during high-volume service Demonstrate proficiency across multiple stations, including saut, broiler, grill, and garde manger Assist with weddings, banquets, and private events Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of all work areas Follow all food safety and proper food-handling procedures Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with the kitchen team Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards throughout each service
WHAT WE\'RE LOOKING FOR
5+ years of professional cooking experience required Experience in a mid-upscale restaurant, hotel, private club, or similar professional kitchen Creative approach to cooking, with experience across multiple cuisines Strong experience with saut, broiler, grill, and garde manger/salad stations Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen Strong attention to detail and food quality Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Positive attitude and professional demeanor Desire to continue learning and developing culinary skills Culinary education or high school diploma/equivalent preferred
