Job Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Prep Cook and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will assist in preparing ingredients, assembling dishes, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. Your culinary skills and attention to safety standards will help ensure smooth kitchen operations, support the cooking team, and uphold our commitment to quality food service. Hours:
9:30 AM - 9:30 PM Responsibilities Prepare ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications, including slicing, dicing, and portioning food items with precision. Assist in cooking and food preparation tasks to support the kitchen staff during service hours. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, mixers, ovens, and other culinary tools. Maintain cleanliness of workstations by adhering to food safety standards and sanitation procedures throughout your shift. Follow recipe instructions closely to ensure consistency and quality in meal preparation. Support menu planning efforts by organizing ingredients and prepping components needed for upcoming dishes or catering events. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks, manage timing, and ensure smooth workflow during busy periods.
Hours:
9:30 AM - 9:30 PM Skills Experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety management. Knowledge of restaurant or food service operations with an understanding of safety standards in production environments. Proficiency in using kitchen equipment such as knives (including slicing techniques), mixers, ovens, and other culinary tools. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with kitchen staff and ensuring seamless teamwork. Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Previous catering or meal prep experience is a plus; familiarity with menu planning and food handling best practices enhances your fit for this role. Pay:
$17.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
