Job Description

Job Title:
Dishwasher / Fryer Cook We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Staff member to join our team and serve as the ultimate support system for our culinary operations. In this role, you will be the right hand to our Lead Cook, taking charge of fryer cooking, food preparation, and dishwashing. You will also own the nightly kitchen closing process, ensuring the line is perfectly cleaned, sanitized, and restocked for the next day. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in keeping a kitchen running smoothly from prep to close, we want to hear from you. Job Responsibilities Ability to work until 12 midnight
Lead Cook Support:
Assist the Lead Cook with plating, multitasking during rush hours, and keeping the line organized.
Fryer Station Operation:
Cook and execute all fried menu items efficiently according to quality and presentation standards.
Food Preparation:
Chop vegetables, portion meats, prepare sauces, and restock stations before and during shifts.
Dishwashing & Organization:
Wash pots, pans, utensils, and service ware throughout the shift to keep the kitchen clutter-free.
Kitchen Closing & Sanitation:
Execute the nightly closing checklist, including cleaning fryers, griddle, wiping lines, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
Food Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all health department codes, safe food handling procedures, and proper storage rotations (FIFO).
Requirements & Qualifications Skills:
Proficiency with commercial fryers, basic knife skills, and a strong understanding of kitchen closing procedures.
Stamina & Speed:
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Reliability:
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to closing the kitchen down correctly every night.
Required availability:
Thursday and Saturday evenings, 8 PM to 12 midnight
Pay:
