Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols Support meal assembly and plating, ensuring timely delivery of orders during busy service hours Handle food handling responsibilities with care, following all safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness Collaborate with kitchen staff on menu planning ideas and special dietary accommodations to enhance guest satisfaction Contribute to a positive kitchen environment by practicing teamwork, communication, and efficient workflow management Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a related food industry role; restaurant or catering experience highly preferred Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with meal preparation, menu planning, and food service operations is advantageous Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Prior dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus but not required Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a real impact!
