Our kitchen is open, so our cooks are part of the experience. We're a small, close-knit team, and we're looking for a lead line cook who loves the oven and loves the people around it. The Role You'll run the wood-fired oven during service and help our Chef keep the kitchen running smoothly day to day. This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll set the pace on the line, but you'll also pitch in wherever the restaurant needs you. What You'll Do Start the wood fire each day and manage it throughout service Lead pizza production on the oven during service, keeping quality and ticket times consistent Set up your station before service, including stocking and prep Break down and clean your station and the kitchen at close Work with the Chef on basic kitchen management (such as prep lists, inventory, ordering support, and guiding newer cooks) Help with general restaurant tasks as needed: folding pizza boxes, taking out trash, supporting prep Greet and chat with dine-in guests, takeout customers, and delivery drivers from our open kitchen What We're Looking For Experience cooking pizza in a wood-fired oven (required) 3+ years of line cook experience, ideally in a lead role A friendly, personable attitude and a team-first work ethic Comfortable working in an open kitchen where guests can see and talk to you Able to communicate clearly in English with the team and guests Available mostly evenings, with some weekend daytime flexibility (Saturday and Sunday) Able to stand for long shifts, work around high heat, and lift up to 45 lbs Schedule & Pay Full time, approximately 40 hours per week Mostly nights, with some Saturday/Sunday daytime shifts Pay negotiable Benefits and perks: staff discounts, shift meals How to Apply Apply through Indeed with your resume and a short note about your wood-fired oven experience.
