Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:00 PM Arcadia Living is looking for a dependable, caring Cook to prepare and serve delicious, home-style meals for our assisted living residents. This position is about more than preparing food. Our goal is to delight each resident at mealtime and create a warm, enjoyable dining experience they look forward to every day. Responsibilities Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner , plus dessert and snacks Serve meals to residents in a friendly and welcoming manner Serve a daily resident snack/mocktails Prepare and portion food needed for weekend meals Maintain a clean, organized kitchen, dining room, and food storage areas Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment and surfaces Monitor food inventory and communicate ordering needs Properly store, label, rotate, and organize food and supplies Follow food safety, sanitation, and assisted living requirements Help make each meal feel special through attractive presentation, consistency, and friendly service What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Enjoys cooking and takes pride in serving great food Is warm, patient, and enjoys interacting with seniors Understands that mealtime is an important part of our residents' day Keeps a clean, organized kitchen Can independently manage meal preparation and stay on schedule Is dependable, punctual, and consistent Works well as part of a caregiving team Schedule Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:00 PM This is a great opportunity for someone who loves to cook but also wants their work to have a meaningful impact.
