00/hour Basilwood Kitchen is a busy, growing fast-casual Italian restaurant in Edgewater, and we're looking for an experienced line cook to join our kitchen team. We are specifically looking for someone with solid sauté and/or pizza line experience who is comfortable working at a fast pace and can stay organized and consistent during a busy service. What You'll Do Work sauté/pasta and/or pizza station Prepare and execute orders quickly and consistently Manage multiple tickets during busy service Maintain station setup, stocking and cleanliness Follow recipes, portions and food-safety standards Communicate and work well with the rest of the kitchen team Assist with prep and opening/closing duties as needed What We're Looking For Previous line cook experience required Sauté and/or pizza experience strongly preferred Comfortable working in a high-volume kitchen Dependable and able to show up on time for scheduled shifts Able to work efficiently without sacrificing food quality Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude Evening and weekend availability preferred Compensation Starting wage: $18.50/hour All hourly employees also participate in our tip share, which is currently averaging approximately $3.50
