We are a fast-paced sports bar and grill looking for someone who takes pride in preparing quality food, works well under pressure, and can keep up during busy service.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards Complete daily food preparation, including chopping, portioning, seasoning, and prepping ingredients Work multiple stations on the line as needed Maintain proper food quality, portion sizes, and presentation Keep the kitchen, prep areas, equipment, and workstations clean and organized Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Properly store and label food and ingredients Monitor food levels and communicate when items need to be prepped or restocked Work efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staffQualifications:
Previous line cook, prep cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong knowledge of basic cooking and food-preparation techniques Reliable, punctual, and dependable Ability to follow recipes and instructions Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed ServSafe certification is a plusWhat We're Looking For:
