Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Grill Cook to join our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you'll prepare and serve fresh, made-to-order food while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You'll play an important part in delivering excellent service and supporting Meritus Health's commitment to teamwork, integrity, and innovation Key Responsibilities Prepare grill and menu items according to customer selections and quality standards Provide friendly, timely customer service—smiles encouraged! Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, floors, and equipment Practice proper food handling, storage, labeling, and FIFO procedures Follow HACCP guidelines and comply with all health and safety regulations Control food costs through proper portioning and minimizing waste Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent preferred Previous food service or customer service experience preferred ServSafe Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic math skills for measuring and portioning ingredients Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed Work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to heat and food service equipment Caring for Our Team We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees' well-being and professional growth.
