Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Kitchen Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pans, poaching stations, and other culinary tools Assist in menu planning and food production to support high-volume meal service Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment Handle food with care, practicing proper food handling techniques to prevent contamination Support dietary department needs by preparing specialized meals in accordance with dietary guidelines Maintain accurate records of food inventory, storage, and waste management Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and smooth kitchen operations Implement food safety management practices consistently across all tasks Qualifications Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a similar food service role is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and meal assembly Demonstrated proficiency in operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively Experience with food safety sanitizing procedures and maintaining hygiene standards Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume production environments Excellent knife skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure Background in fine dining or catering environments is a plus Knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to prepare meals accordingly Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred but not required Join our team as a Kitchen Cook where your culinary skills will shine!
