Responsibilities include:
Preparing hot entrées, soups, vegetables, and side dishes for multiple dining venues Following recipes and production sheets to ensure consistency and excellence Applying best practices in food preparation, handling, sanitation, and safety Conducting food quality checks, temperature monitoring, and taste testing for every meal Completing advance food preparation and maintaining accurate production records Properly storing ingredients and prepared foods according to safety guidelines Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment Following safe work practices, including lifting, bending, and equipment operation procedures Supporting emergency preparedness and safety initiatives as needed Collaborating with team members and other departments to create a positive dining experience Assisting with additional duties that support departmental success What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who combines culinary talent with a genuine passion for serving others. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-focused environment Previous cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a related setting Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality Excellent communication and teamwork skills Dependable, positive, and customer-service oriented attitude Creativity and enthusiasm for preparing memorable meals Ability to speak and read in English Culture defines who we are.
