Positions Available:

Farmers Market Cook Farmers Market Cashier Pay Rate:

• 21/hour depending on experience and role

Weekly Hours:

Approx. 15-32 hours/week , with opportunity to grow into additional roles or responsibilities within our company. Bonuses available at sales thresholds.

Weekly Schedule:

Currently looking to fill spots (Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays) Availability for nights and weekends is essential. Reliable transportation to each location is required.

Note:

We do not operate in heavy rain or severe weather. Schedule may shift during the winter season.

Duties & Responsibilities Cook Responsibilities:

Execute food preparation independently (sandwiches, salads, sauces, and other market items) Assist with organizing market bins, supplies, and van loading from the kitchen prior to market days Safely transport food, equipment, and supplies to market locations Set up and break down food tents, displays, and cooking equipment Cook and assemble food during market service Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and presentation standards at all times Manage prep station inventory and help track supply needs Return to the kitchen after markets to unload, clean utensils, cooking tools, and reset equipment for the next service

Cashier Responsibilities:

Greet and interact with customers warmly and professionally Accurately handle POS transactions Package food and beverages neatly and efficiently Assist with organizing bins and packing supplies before markets Help with setup, breakdown, and light cleaning at market Restock items and assist in maintaining a clean and organized market booth Act as a brand ambassador, sharing product knowledge and representing La Table du Château

Requirements:

✅ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (tents, coolers, gear) ✅ Must be able to drive and have reliable transportation ✅ Proficient in English for customer interaction ✅ Comfortable working outdoors and standing for extended periods ✅ Availability for required shifts including weekends and evenings ✅ Food service or kitchen experience preferred ✅ Team-oriented and self-motivated Bonus if you:

• Hold a ServSafe certification or food handler's license
