We are looking for a PT cook to prepare scrumptious meals for our seniors and our employees. We have two 15-bed assisted living homes located on the same property in Waldorf. Menus are designed by a dietitian and specify what is prepared and served.

Hours:

Part-time more upon application. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious, appealing meals tailored to residents' dietary needs while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Experience Prior experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles preferred Background in food preparation, cooking, or culinary arts, especially within a healthcare or assisted living setting Knowledge of menu planning and meal prep for special diets (e.g., diabetic, low-sodium) is advantageous Experience with dining or restaurant environments is a plus Skills in food safety, knife handling, catering, and food service are highly desirable Familiarity with the food industry standards for hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations This position is ideal for individuals passionate about providing quality nutrition and compassionate care in a supportive community environment.
