Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry and join us full time , with experience in both culinary and customer service roles. Hours of business are 1:00pm- 8:30pm Tuesday-Saturday. Hours may be shortened in the spring and fall. We are also open to a part time evening position with hours from 4:00pm- 8:30pm 3-5 days per week. This position requires excellent time management skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities Assist with pizza preparation and ensure all pizzas, subs, salads and desserts are prepared according to safety and quality standards. Operate Square systems for order processing and cash handling. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen areas in compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth operations. Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a quick service restaurant is preferred but we are willing to train! Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food handling and safety practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Square is advantageous. Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
