Overview Join our vibrant team as a Cashier/Cook, where you'll be the friendly face and efficient operator behind the counter! Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and give correct change while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following sanitation standards, cleaning kitchen equipment, counters, and dining areas regularly. Assist customers with their food service orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including fryers, grills, ovens, and food prep tools, adhering to food safety management practices. Skills Proven experience in food preparation and food handling within quick service or fast food restaurants. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly while maintaining quality standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food industry procedures. Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales reconciliation.
