Cook - Nursing Home & Skilled Rehab Facility We are seeking a dependable Cook to join our dietary team. As a Cook in our Senior Living Community, you will play an important role in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals that contribute to the health and well-being of our residents. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus, standardized recipes, and dietary guidelines. Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation. Ensure meals are prepared and served in a timely manner. Supervise and direct dietary staff as assigned. Follow all community policies, state regulations, and food safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Qualifications Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must have a high regard for cleanliness and personal hygiene. Must be able to take directions and carry them out independently. Must have the ability to supervise and direct staff. Institutional, healthcare, or restaurant culinary experience is preferred. Must successfully complete ServSafe certification Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to quality food service.
