Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! Your culinary expertise will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests, contributing to a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, ensuring flavor, presentation, and quality standards are met consistently Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and improvements based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, slicers, and other appliances Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools to uphold food safety standards Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety compliance Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery during busy service hours Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with dietary restrictions and special requests when applicable Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant service environments Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production Excellent knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques for various ingredients Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining flexibility for special requests or modifications Effective communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams Experience with dietary department procedures and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus Familiarity with catering services and meal preparation for large groups or events Knowledge of food industry trends, culinary techniques, and menu planning strategies Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under pressure Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food handling practices Join us as a Line Cook and bring your culinary passion to life!
