Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and experience in meal preparation and food service. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning, ensuring seasonal ingredients are utilized effectively. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards throughout the kitchen. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods. Team player with good communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with others. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing menus or dietary requirements. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. You'll be joining a family operated restaurant with a well established name. We are looking for an experienced line cook capable of grill/sautee and frying, who is proficient and passionate about their craft and want a chance to show their creativity. Training wage is $18/hr (Plus tips!) with a review after a month of employment resulting in a raise in pay if expectations have been met and you show a good understanding of kitchen experience.
